New Project: Lidl Bridgwater

We're delighted to share that the Hooper Services team will soon start work on delivering the landscaping needed for the new Lidl store on Carnival Way in Bridgwater for our new client, Wright Morgan.

The new Lidl store is being built on the southern side of Carnival Way, as part of a growing development on the southern outskirts of Bridgwater, near to the M5. The new store will create as many as 40 new jobs and the location forms part of the Bridgewater Gateway site, which hopes to eventually house nearly 500 new homes and commerical units just a stone's throw from junction 24 of the motorway.

Our work on-site primarily consists of Soft Landscaping and Fencing works including:

- Tree planting

- Hedgerow planting

- Native planting

- Planting beds

- Plum slate rather than gravel (bit different)

- Sowing eco-species-rich lawn seed which includes a mix of wildflowers and grasses

- Paladin fencing and gates installation

- Hand rail installation

- Knee rail installation

- Key clamp railing installation

We'll be supporting the initial installation with a 12-month maintenance contract to ensure that the new outdoor spaces have the best chance to thrive.
