New Project: Yeovil College

We're delighted to share that we'll soon be starting work on a brand-new project for BAM UK & Ireland on the transformative £60m+ campus redevelopment of Yeovil College.
As part of the work taking place on-site, the Hooper Services team will complete:
➡️ Supply and installation of British standard topsoil as well as rain garden soil
➡️ Soft landscaping to include tree & shrub planting, native hedgerows and bark mulching
➡️ Fencing installation, including a mix of post & wire, V-Mech and chestnut pale fencing
➡️ Maintenance contract for 12 months post installation to ensure the best chance for the new spaces to thrive
Yeovil College campus transformation features state-of-the-art facilities that promise unparalleled educational experiences to students across the region with advanced facilities and dynamic learning environments.
The £60+ million investment includes the creation of a brand new sports centre, a technical construction centre, and a large, modern teaching centre, which will house all commercial outlets, including reenvisaged salons and restaurants, as well as much of the teaching space from across the curriculum.
These facilities are designed to support and nurture local talent, skills, and innovation, addressing the diverse needs of the community and enhancing employment opportunities in the region.
The footprint of the newly developed site will comprise 12,500 m2 of new build development, replacing 8800m2 of demolished buildings. This will result in an overall increase in campus building space from 18,000 m2 to 21,700m2. The additional footprint will provide teaching and learning environments to accommodate the recent growth of the college.
